Rabbit polyclonal to FCGR3B.Low affinity immunoglobulin gamma Fc region receptor III-B (FCGR3B) is a receptor for the Fc regionof immunoglobulin gamma. It is a low affinity receptor. It binds to complexed or aggregated IgG andalso monomeric IgG. Contrary to III-A, FCGR3B is not capable of mediating antibody-dependentcytotoxicity and phagocytosis. It may serve as a trap for immune complexes in the peripheralcirculation which does not activate neutrophils.
