Bovine genomic DNA is recommended for genomic analysis e.g. as template in positive control PCRs like for the MeatDetect qPCR Kit Pork+Horse+Beef (Halal), #PCR-708. The DNA was purified from bovine muscle meat. The DNA fragments have a size of up to 50 kb.
