Lirilumab (IPH2102) is a monoclonal antibody targeting the inhibitory KIR2D receptor on NK cells. By blocking KIR2D, it enhances NK cell-mediated antitumor activity, particularly against HPV+ cervical cancer, via VAV1-dependent NF-κB pathway activation. Its research applications include studies in leukemia and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, supported by both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
