In Vivo

Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate hydrate (15 or 45 mg/kg.d, i.p., 18 days) was effective in inhibiting ethanol-induced spermatogenic epithelial tissue division and degeneration of supporting cells and germ cells, and was protective against oxidative damage of testis. Magnesium isoglycyrrhizinate hydrate (0.40 or 0.80 mg/kg/d) exerts anti-inflammatory activity through the NLRP3 inflammatome pathway and improves chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in rats ina rat model.
