Description

2'-Hydroxychalcone is a synthetic flavonoid intermediate with demonstrated bioactivity in research models. In vitro, it induces cytotoxicity via oxidative stress in HepG2 cells and inhibits pro-inflammatory adhesion molecule expression. In vivo, a nanoemulsion formulation has shown antifungal efficacy against Candida parapsilosis in a zebrafish (Danio rerio) model.
