Ac-IETD-AFC TFA is a synthetic fluorescent substrate used for the specific detection of Caspase-8 enzyme activity. It contains the fluorescent group AFC (7-amino-4-trifluoromethylcoumarin), which becomes free and emits fluorescence (Ex=~400 nm; Em=~505 nm) when Caspase-8 cleaves the amide bond following the IETD sequence.
