Rabbit polyclonal to CCR3.C-C chemokine receptor type 3 (CCR3) is a multi-pass membrane protein belonging to the G-proteincoupled receptor 1 family. CCR3 is a receptor for a C-C type chemokine. Binds to eotaxin, eotaxin-3,MCP-3, MCP-4, RANTES and MIP-1 delta. CCR3 subsequently transduces a signal by increasing theintracellular calcium ions level. CCR3 is an alternative coreceptor with CD4 for HIV-1 infection
