Description

CD16/CD32 (2.4G2) rat antibody recognizes endogenous levels of total CD16/CD32 protein. This antibody detects an epitope within the extracellular domain and is expected to detect all isoforms of CD16 and CD32. 2.4G2 antibody blocks the interaction between IgG and CD16 or CD32, and therefore is used as a pre-treatment to minimize non-specific binding of antibodies to FcR-bearing cells. CD16/CD32 is expressed on NK cells, monocytes, macrophages, dendritic C (at low levels) kupper cells, granulocytes, mast cells, B lymphocytesand some activated T lymphocyte
