CelGreen is a water-based, 10,000x concentrated fluorescent nucleic acid stain that exhibits strong fluorescence enhancement upon binding to the minor groove of dsDNA. This property allows for the sensitive quantification of dsDNA in PCR and other in vitro applications, such as gel electrophoresis and fluorescence-based assays.
