ent-Rhizocarpic acid is the enantiomer of Rhizocarpic acid. Compared to Rhizocarpic acid, ent-Rhizocarpic acid exhibits stronger antibacterial and antiparasitic properties against Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923) and Giardia duodenalis 713. Additionally, ent-Rhizocarpic acid shows weak yet selective antitumor activity against NS-1 cells.
