Hot start Taq DNA Polymerase

Hot Start Taq DNA Polymerase combines Taq enzyme with a high-affinity anti-Taq antibody that inhibits polymerase activity at lower temperatures. This mechanism prevents non-specific priming and primer dimers, markedly improving reaction specificity. The antibody rapidly dissociates during the standard initial denaturation step, eliminating the need for an extended activation incubation. Compatible with various Taq-based hot-start PCR and qPCR assays, it yields PCR products with 3' single-A overhangs suitable for direct TA cloning.
