Source	Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Biological Activity	The ED50, as measured by its ability to stimulate proliferation of mouse 3T3 fibroblasts is typically 1 ng/ml, corresponding to a Specific Activity of 1,000,000IU/mg.
Protein Sequence	The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined and was found to be Ser-Leu-Gly-Ser-Leu
Purity	Greater than 98.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

Storage	Stability: Lyophilized Platelet-derived Growth Factor BB although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution PDGF BB should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles
Form/Appearance	Sterile Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.
Buffer/Preservatives	The PDGF-BB was lyophilized from 0.2 µm filtered solution in 20mM sodium phosphate in absence of any carrier protein.
Expiration Date	6 months from date of receipt.
