Immunohistochemistry Validation of Omicron Variant Spike Specific Antibody on a Nasal Swab Sample from a Omicron COVID-19 Patient. Immunohistochemical analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed cells from a nasal swab from a patient infected with the Omicron variant stained with Omicron specific antibody (orb1239983) at 1 µg/mL. Tissue was fixed with formaldehyde and blocked with 10% serum for 1 h at RT; antigen retrieval was by heat mediation with a citrate buffer (pH6). Samples were incubated with primary antibody overnight at 4 ˚C. A goat anti-rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1/250 was used as secondary. Counter stained with Hematoxylin.

Immunofluorescence Validation of Omicron Variant Spike Specific Antibody on a Nasal Swab Sample from a Patient Infected with the Omicron Variant. Immunofluorescent analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed patient nasal swab sample labeling spike with orb1239983 and nucleocapsid with orb1273019 at 10 µg/mL for each, followed by goat anti-rabbit IgG secondary antibody at 1/500 dilution for spike (orb1239983,green) and goat anti-mouse IgG secondary antibody at 1/500 dilution for nucleocapsid (orb1273019, red) with DAPI counter staining (blue).
