Terlipressin (Acetate)

SKU: orb2694239

Description

Terlipressin, whose chemical name is triglycyl lysine vasopressin, is a new type of synthetic long-acting vasopressin preparation. It is a prodrug, inactive in itself, in vivo by the action of aminopeptidase, after removing its N-terminal 3 glycyl residues, slowly "release" active lysine vasopressin, so terlipressin is equivalent to a reservoir that can release lysine vasopressin at a steady rate.
