Description

Hsp inhibitor II is the bioactive benzylidene lactam form that suppresses inducible Hsp synthesis, including Hsp105, Hsp72, and Hsp40. It reduces tumor thermotolerance in vivo and inhibits thermotolerance development in vitro. Furthermore, it synergizes with amphotericin B to enhance antifungal efficacy against both susceptible and resistant A. fumigatus strains.
